39

That was our mid-day temperature today. Mr. Wu showed me the temperature display in the car and exclaimed. Of course 39 didn't mean too much to me until I got home and looked up a Celsius/Fahrenheit conversion online. 39 degrees is 102 Fahrenheit. Add lots of humidity on top of that, and you've got a pretty hot day.

Sounds like good ol' North Carolina. Honestly, the heat here seems to have physical properties. If one only had strength and know-how (and could get a grip on the edge of it), one could grab hold of it and throw it off! Yuck.

But your heat is worse. Definitely Worse.

Which will make your eventual move to Durham, North Carolina No Problem.

LOL! When I moved to the US from Europe it took me a while to get used to degrees in F vs C :o) It just didn't seem right that water didn't freeze at '0' but at '32'...

You'll pick it up fast enough :o)
