- We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

I never remember seeing a pile of dried meets like this in a nice grocery story. Does not look very sanitary, but I think that most people deep fry it before eating it. Maybe the high heat helps kill the germs.
