Seth Sings

I have never posted a video before, but I am trying now because I am so amazed by my boy. Seth had a short solo in the Concordia Christmas choir concert last night, and he blew me away! I had never heard him sing it before, so it was doubly special to hear him do it on stage for the first time. The words barely registered in my brain... just the sound of his sweet, clear voice brought tears to my eyes. Aunt Sarah videoed him on her digital camera, and she and Madelyn and I listened to it over and over again today! The song is "Believe", from the movie Polar Express.

Nannie, you would have been so proud. You and I have a weakness for singing Liptak guys, don't we?!

Your dad was a little younger then you when he debut his voice in play after Christmas. He plqyed the part of a little shepherd boy

Lynn,
So enjoyed hearing Seth's solo. What a wonderful, sweet voice he has. He has always been so musical. I remember every time you came to our house, he would make a bee line for that Barney banjo we used to have. He would sit and play it the whole time!

I'm so impressed! I choked up just thinking about how it must have felt for you to listen to this for the first time. Nobody in our family can carry a tune so it was doubly impressive to me!
