- We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

Madelyn, Caden is very interested about this idea that teeth fall out. Grandma was telling him how your tooth was on your pillow next to you one morning. I think he was a bit startled by that! He kept saying to me, "Madelyn's teeth fall out?"
