Dreaming

We took a little road trip a few Saturdays ago to Iowa... or was it heaven?!  If you've seen the movie Field of Dreams, you'll recognize this site.  It looks just like it did in the 1989 film.  You can play baseball on the field and walk in and out of the corn, and that's what we did for a couple of hours. So cool, especially for the baseball lovers in our family.  :-)

James Earl Jones (Terrance Mann) said it best...

"The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and that could be again. Oh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come..."
