Can we fit all this in two suitcases? More importantly, will each suitcase weigh under 50 pounds?

May God's peace dwell in your hearts during this hectic time. Forget the stress of baggage. Take half of what you think you will need and it will be just fine. Enjoy this singular experience of this life changing event.
We've witnessed this experience through a continuing documentary of one of our local news anchors when they adopted a Chinese child last month. There will be trials and tribulations, BUT the bonding will take place and everyone will be blessed in the end especially with the God loving parents, who you are, being at the center of it all.
Our prayers are for safe travel, troublefree paperwork, happy meet/greet/bonding. God bless you all.
I've enjoyed reading your thoughts moving towards heading over to be with Gwen. What an amazing journey that began so long ago and is now is so close to fruition. Thank you for sharing it. I look forward to reading about your times in China and your first moments with Gwen. Best of luck on your travels! Godspeed! - Matt
We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!
