Gwen did this little song and dance routine she learned at school for me in her bedroom tonight... it was so sweet. She wasn't sure what the Chinese words to her song meant, so I had her do it again for Caleb to see if he could translate. He was able to pick out a few words. When she finished the song, Caleb looked at me amazed, and said, "Mom, she sounds so Chinese!"
Just a little ironic, don't you think?

So cute!!
That was lovely! Such nice foot pointing.
I am Chinese but I couldn't figure out what the song is. But she sure looks really cute.
ahhhhh - we miss you guys - so when u coming to Florida - Gwen can teach K Chinese songs !!!
How sweet! What a beautiful voice she has! I love the fancy footwork!
If I am understanding correctly, it sounds like it is saying the "one person is going home" or something like that. I would be curious to know all the Chinese words.....
Beautiful Gwen!
Hope you can sing and dance when you visit us this summer.
Our love,
Pa and Nannie
Wow! Great job!!
I should also mention that it's so fun to see your kids in action. Videos are so great!
It means "please bring the song back and leave the smile"

Lynne, I am so glad Gwen is learning to speak Chinese. Music is such a fun way to learn another language. I can't wait to see what God has in store for Gwen and speaking fluently English and Chinese will be a tremendous tool.
Gwen wo hen gaoxing ni shi wo de pengyou. Wo ai ni. :-) I feel sad I am forgetting the little Chinese I know but I am sure happy the Liptaks are learning this fascinating language :-)
