- We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

Thank you! We can't believe that EC is 2 either. She had a very happy birthday and if you ask her how old she is she will hold up 2 fingers and tell you quite firmly she is "B". A little bit of number and letter confusion! Atleast she picked the 2nd letter of the alphabet. :)
