It is wonderful to see all the learning and celebrations! We adopted our daughter from the Yibin Children's Welfare Institute in May of 2007. She had just turned 3 at the time. She is an amazing, beautiful little person, and I continue to watch her flourish. After our experience in China, and as a way to help our daughter transition, I wrote and illustrated a children's picture book, entitled, C is for China it has been picked up by a publisher, and comes out in April of 2012. I love reading about your work there, and your experiences. Thank you!
We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!
