- We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

All of your Sanya pics make me long for a day on a warm sandy beach somewhere. Do you think I can find a place like that in Minnesota?? :) I continue to enjoy your pictures and am thankful that you all have been able to experience so many new and exciting places!
