- We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

Oh I remember my doll Veronica... as a matter of fact I still have her... though she is the size of a 2 year old and mum wants me to bring it back to the US with me... can you imagine it going through security...haha
Lynne, I can't believe that I didn't get a good picture of Madelyn and Nellie in their dresses! Can you take one for me? The one on your blog wasn't the best. The light was too bright on the fabric. I think of the color as more of a cranberry.
