Kate said to me a few days ago. "Gwenny live in Shanghai." Then walks over and points to our calender with a picture of Shanghai on it..."Shanghai" she says.
Out of the mouth of a child. This reminded me of the time we moved to a new home. Mary and Sarah stood at the patio window and told me they wanted to go to the other house.
We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

There is some comfort in just saying,"I be sad". Oh where is that place that was my comfort and where I found so much joy!
I think I can relate! N.E.
