- We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!

That is ADORABLE! I got your site address from a friend. My husband and I are adopting from China too. We just finished our home study and are awaiting I-171-H so we can send in our dossier. We live in the CHicagoland area too.
Getting everything for your dossier is such a big step! Congratulations... hope the 171 comes this week!
