I love your photos. I have been reading your blog since you were in China, and I love it. We were DTC on 3/31. YAHOO!! I just wanted to ask about your camera. The pictures of your kids are great, not blurry like my digital. Even if my kids move a little the picture is ruined. Do you mind me asking what camera you use?
Congratulations on being DTC! Now you can just settle in and wait! The camera we have is a Nikon Coolpix 5600. I am pretty pleased with it, although there are times when it seems like the delay before the picture is actually taken is too long. There are lots of different settings for flash and motion that I haven't explored... I'm sure if I fully understood how it worked my pictures could be even better. :-) I do crop and enhance my photos in Picture Project... that helps, too. Thanks for reading our blog! Do you have a site for your new daughter? Please pass it along if you do! ~Lynne
Thanks so much for the camera tip. I dont have a blog yet. I think my husbands head would explode. He is totally into "privacy". But I will probably blog our trip when we go to CHina, probably on one with a password as a compromise with DH! Hopefully wait times wont expand much beyond 10-12 months. UGH. In the meantime, I live vicariously through the blogs of other. :)
We adopted our youngest child, Gwen, from the Sichuan province in China in 2005, making our family SIX. In 2007, we were given the opportunity to move to Shanghai, where we lived for just a few weeks shy of five years. Now we are back in the Chicago area and readjusting to life in the US!
