Today is one of the times I am sad to be on this side of the world. Oh, we had a great day filled with fun activities and a relaxing evening at home, but my heart is somewhere else. My cousin is getting married today on the other side of the world. I wish I could be there to join the celebration and enjoy the gathering of family, and of course to wish Dave and Leslie a wonderful new life together.

ReplyDeleteYah, we missed having you guys with us, but it helped that we were able to drowned our sorrows with a huge basket of mini cookies. ;) I hope that you can take some comfort in knowing that I frequently held up a cookie and offered a toast of "to the Liptaks" before eating it. -STD
